Hello, my name is Deesha Verma. I am a second-year student at UC Davis, majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Upon graduation, I plan on attending medical school specializing in cardiology. I am excited to be a pre-med mentor for Leading Hands in Health and looking forward to guiding students interested in medicine and healthcare. I know the struggles of being a pre-med student and hope to alleviate the stresses students may face as they make these crucial career decisions. I hope to make this journey more manageable by sharing my experiences and knowledge. I look forward to seeing you all at our future meetings!
