Hello, My name is Alicia B Hernandez, and I am attending my second semester at Cosumnes River College. In the fall of 2026, I will graduate with my associate's degree in studio art and transfer to Sacramento State University. It is my aim to attend Medical school in California and gain my Doctorate in osteopathic medicine. My current 2-year experience as a Medical assistant has given me invaluable experience and a passion for the healthcare field.

As a first-generation American, I found it difficult to navigate the unique complexities of receiving a higher education. I hope that through LHIH, I may offer the guidance necessary to make that next step after high school a little easier.
